In or out ?

In any case there's no way the touchie can make that call on the run.  He should have left it for the video ref, who even with 8 cameras there's no doubt anyone could definitely say he was out.

Great fight back with a very depleted Parramatta team nonetheless, but this decision cost us the match.

For mine he can't be called out. The benefit of the doubt goes to the attacking side. Its inconclusive.

    • The Bunker would of call it out any way and even though if it was a try we still would of lost any way the score would of been Parramatta 26 Dragons 34

  • Chief mate I was going to say the jock sniffing exercise this week was poor but were you in the sheds at halftime as they were a different side coming out.

Normally I don't mind TJs making calls but like anything you take the good with the bad.

Worse thing is we compounded the mistakes after it with Paulo and Williams errors that pretty much buried us.Nevermind we missed a real opportunity to move further away from the bottom 4 but this is who we are a bottom 4 side until we prove we aren't.

But at least we look good when we lose aye Chiefy fark we look good 😂

  • Touchie got it right as was out, people need to get their bias eyes off and call it as it really is. Don't get to see all of our games so watch what everyone here is saying only to watch the replay latter to see it isn't refed as bad as everyone here says.

    • It's not on the white line so it's in

  • Touch judges miss lots of obvious calls, particularly forward passes. You would think their should be a benefit of the doubt ruling favouring plays when millimetres are involved

    • Passive chip stickers on outside edges of boots and active wire under the touch line.....it's 2025, time for touchies to go digital

      • Possibly chips on the ball to check out lots of things even forward passes.Poor ref judgements does affect players mentally and eventually best performances which does affect the quality of the game.. Trust in the game outcomes is something which should be paramount.

        • It would remove the wriggle room that seems open to abuse/corruption.....so the nrl will have none of it

          • Same with goal line technology. They have the ability to use it much like they do in soccer with the VAR, but that would remove 50/50 calls. The way it stands now, there is more ways to shift swings within the game

    • on forward passes I agree, touch judges don't seem to want to do their jobs and rule on forward passes, they seem to think passes drift forward which is crap as they go forward from the ball being let go too soon. It takes alot of wind to actually make the ball go forward. As for the touch line the front of the boot is near the touch line but the back of boot actually touches the line, they got it right.
