In any case there's no way the touchie can make that call on the run. He should have left it for the video ref, who even with 8 cameras there's no doubt anyone could definitely say he was out.
Great fight back with a very depleted Parramatta team nonetheless, but this decision cost us the match.
For mine he can't be called out. The benefit of the doubt goes to the attacking side. Its inconclusive.

Touchie got it right as was out, people need to get their bias eyes off and call it as it really is. Don't get to see all of our games so watch what everyone here is saying only to watch the replay latter to see it isn't refed as bad as everyone here says.
It's not on the white line so it's in
Touch judges miss lots of obvious calls, particularly forward passes. You would think their should be a benefit of the doubt ruling favouring plays when millimetres are involved
Passive chip stickers on outside edges of boots and active wire under the touch line.....it's 2025, time for touchies to go digital
on forward passes I agree, touch judges don't seem to want to do their jobs and rule on forward passes, they seem to think passes drift forward which is crap as they go forward from the ball being let go too soon. It takes alot of wind to actually make the ball go forward. As for the touch line the front of the boot is near the touch line but the back of boot actually touches the line, they got it right.
Exactly
I could live with it being called out if it wasn't called by a bloke who's not even looking at his foot at the time. 9/10 times that touch judge ain't calling shit there . He was influenced by the crowd who all piped up calling out down that touch line.
The correct play should've been old mate putting his flag squarely up his anus as he didn't see shit, and the video ref ruling in favour of the attacking team. 26 all , game on. Ruined a great grandstand finish.
But I'll also say , we were totally dog shit for 40 minutes and as Ryles said , we got what we deserved. Unfortunately the second half revival may lead us to believe we have sufficient cattle to build a team from and we will still sit with our thumbs up our bum and not seek further talent. I'd rather we got pumped if we ain't going to win.
But... The Dragons have even bigger problems , their team was almost complete 😂
Definitely a try and levelled score and with Eels having all the momentum every chance of a win. The NRL is a disgrace and their particular biased attacks on the Eels is borderline criminal. No wonder people are leaving following this sport Oops ! Not a sport anymore but entertainment according Mafia V'Landy
I prefer to answer it this way. Think of it as if it was a try is the player short? Most likely it would be called no try. My biggest issue is that Parramatta did not push the ball early enough when they had all the ball in the second half. Played too much one out. This try was one of they few times they spread the ball.
