I saw on talking parra podcast a idea was floated around by them which I think makes perfect sense and would be perfect.I was also thinking bout it to since the news broke out.
So Sam walker it's been no secret the roosters are open to releasing him effective immediately and here's were the swap deal comes into play.
Mitch Moses goes to chooks to compete for a comp and link up with his bsf Teddy. His getting at the end stage of his career and is to injury prone.
In return eels get sam walker, premiership winner and only 24 and qld halfback.Which sorts out our post Moses plans.
Lets be real Moses isn't winning anything here and dosent have long left, and Sammy Walker still young and still has his best footy ahead of him.I think it's a win win.
We know roosters love there veteran half's.!

I will just leave this here *cough* *cough*
The most stupid comment do far!
They indeed do far...
Player swaps very rarely eventuate. It's always the media or some insignificant guy on a podcast suggesting this. It all relies on the players, if one says no, the swap is off. If it did eventuate, the Roosters would have to put in about $400k for '27 to get Moses, I don't think they would do that.
Not dissimilar to a wife swap really. One blokes usually getting the raw end of the deal. Unless she's bringing something else of value , the deals usually boned .
No one is going to take Moses at the back end of his career unless he is playing that 6 jersey nexT to another elite player. He's to injury prone.
Roosters won't pay $1.5m for Moses .
Sam Walker is a very average footballer. He looks better than he is playing behind the Roosters pack who are aguably the best in the game. If the forwards are not getting it done he has had the luxury of passing the ball to Tedesco, Toia or Marky Mark who make something happen.
If Moses and Walker swapped jumpers this year, it would be Moses who won the comp while we Eels fans would have been piling shit on Walker and calling him out.
