Now we know Zac Lomax has gone and left Parra for yellow 💰 💰 💰 pastures. I'm wondering over the years how many other good players have left Parra with either contract not completed or other reasons.

The concern at the moment is who do you bring in. We do not have any kids other than Richie Penisini coming through and even he has issues with injuries. Reuben Garrick's name been mentioned, only other Wingers off-contract worth while are Murray Taulagi and Sione Katoa but we need someone this year. Unless somehow we get a Sivo type diamond in the rough out of nowhere.
true! It's extremely disappointing that Lomax has gone after only 1 year! It's definitely made it much harder now for Eels Premiership hopes for 2026. Let's just hope that Ryles has a few players lined up that can replace Lomax. Not only are the Eels affected by this but also NSW Blues and the NRL as well. Do you think Lomax has already signed with Union or is intending to sign or just wants release to further pursue his options and may even decide to return

If Lomax can cancel his contract why cant the eels cancel the contract with Matterson?
Because the player has to also agree... Lomax agreed. As far as I'm aware, Matterson has not.
