Now we know Zac Lomax has gone and left Parra for yellow 💰 💰 💰 pastures. I'm wondering over the years how many other good players have left Parra with either contract not completed or other reasons.

Of course they would let Lomax go without a plan.
It's in their DNA to do stupid things like this.
What the Eels must not do is rush into the wrong players looking for a band aid solution for next season. If the right player/ players are not available now, the Eels must wait a year or more and target the right player/ players. The Pezet deal is somewhat different as the Eels believe they have their future #6 but he isn't ready at this stage.

IMO, Jamie Lyon was the biggest loss to the Parra club. He was only young too. Could have built the team around him for many years. I doubt Manly would have been as successful without him.
The other losses worth a mention, was big Semi and Hayne at their prime.

agree. Semi was a big loss end of 2017.
Kieran Foran was another I think if he'd stayed around from 2016 on we'd have been in the conversation.We just can't take a beat at the moment.With expansion coming and teams having more money than us you have to ask what's the attraction.
We just need some luck just hope something of real value falls into our hands.
