I love the way you blame the unions for pushing prices up. We are a first world country and you would like people to be on third world wages. The problem is greedy business's wanting to exploit the third world wages by going off shore and then sell their products in a free market back to the first world for as much as they can get. The unions did nothing but react to the cost of living.
I listed a few reasons not just the unions. If you do some homework you will understand that some of the work practices demanded by the unions in this industry were unreasonable. I don't want people to be on third world wages at all, however the unions were a catalyst in this down fall by their unwillingness to be reasonable, now their members have no industry.
You do understand that the Australian government had subsided this industry to the tune of hundreads of millions and yet it was still unsustainable, also economies of scale played their part.
Yes I'm sure the leadership takes their instructions from the members. I'm sure the leaders don't just get a tacit nod from the members to approve their agenda.

"Well done, it's not only who he's buying it's the why. We need experience and starch in defence, he can play front row, second row, edge and lock. Couple that with DaSilva, guile and speed around the ruck, Ryles is addressing both sides of the coin"
"💯 it's the only thing holding us back.
JR can't do it by himself and the pessimist in me see's JR is the only one really putting his head above the parapet ready to go all in over the top while the guys you mention are the guys with the whistle…"
