"Very fair, though also only seen him have one full year at Centre, with Penrith in 2021 where he won Dally M Centre of the year. Now look at the team he played for too. That is where i agree with you in that if we are to get him to play Centre you…"
"Would you be happy with Bostock + Skelton + Howarth"
"LB I am not as big on his hype tbh - he is a good player don't get me wrong and has an excellent boot, but is he a damaging centre?"
"Well yes, but do we pay him that much? Not many Centre's you'd pay 5/8 money for. If we do, then so be it."

EA and SB would know way more than me. But from talking to them, they rank Bell as our best prospect, period. Lock/Hooker but mainly Lock. I reckon he debuts in 2028 when he is 19 and will get some game time as a 14 since he can play Hooker. Perhaps replacing Edwards.
Cheers mate
All good though as i said, SB and EA are the guys you who should ask as they would have way more information as they keep an eye on them a lot. Same with Y2Eel
He's going to PNG
He would be an alright signing for them. Wonder how he will go with two young kids in Port Moresby.
Meh I'm not fussed
Someone on another site said, and they are right, don't mind keeping him but do not go above and beyond. Just due to what is coming through behind him. Not just Koina but we have Bell, Polley, Nunn that can all play Lock as well.
We've basically been forced to do without him over the past couple of years. I'd like to see him play a full season to assess where he is really at, but I also feel we have options at Lock.
That's the thing LF. Hopgood is at an awkward spot where he is off-contract and coming off an ACL. Had he played majority of 2026, we would have a clearer idea on if we should keep him for 2028 onwards. But with juniors now poking their head out starting in 2027, it starts to make it a bit of a business type decision.
