He needs to be punished in the off season, working on his fitness and ball playing. We are too slow and predictable with him in the link man role at present. Doorey is running harder than Hopgood. Frizell is the same at Newcastle, hence why they have him more as a middle player this season.Â
Ryles should have started Walker. We need to start games well, complete our sets and build a lead.Â
Spot on Tad, ex players and commentators are taking notice and know exactly what Jason is doing coaching wise there's a heap of positives.Â
On Hopgood, contracted for next season - just an observation he seems to be stuck between 2 different coaching styles that of BA and Jason's. Imo it has nothing to do with fitness just his inability to buy in mentally into Jason new style of play - as a naturally gift player I'm surprised he is struggling, the discipline and smarts of J'maine game are below par and this shouldn't be the case for SOO player - senior players are the ones expected to step up when the game is on the line.
Good comment Mick. You generally get better in mastering your craft. If you are going backwards it's not a physical thing unless some injury issues. It is a mental issue. If the coaching team can't help him he needs to accept their is an issue and look at other sources to work it out. Lots of players have been dumped in one club but excelled in a different one.
"Yep dangerous too because the scoreline flattered us against Melbourne.  They made a tonne of  uncharacteristic errors which cancelled out ours. Hoping our young guys don't get ahead of themselves, it easily could have been a bigger scoreline.  "
"NQ quick play the ball and speed in changing their passing angles worries me. Hopefully our forwards will be quick enough to get back up after making a tackle. If not, they might run around us. As much as possible, let Ryley do the kick pressure…"

If he got moved on to England next i wouldn't be upset. He's got no footy smarts at times.
When plays as a proper and runs first hes ok
He will probably come out and have a blinder of a 2nd half
He needs to go tbh. Not the style of forward ryles is after. We would be winning this game if he could hold the ballÂ

It's ryles fault, he moved him from prop where he was doing well back to the ball playing lock role where he has benn error riddled.
Lol spoken like a cry babyÂ
Mummy..bhahahahaÂ

Scapegoating players? Lots of good moments in the game against a top team.
