I can't see Hindy ever playing for another club. It'll never happen. Hindy said himself he's glad he's retiring and there'll be no last hurrah.
I've heard him say that he was offered a few contracts in his time and rejected them all to stay with the Eels, he said he was leaning towards signing the bigger contracts as well
moray, i have heard this rumour, i think you could be on the money here....its all around the town...
I think Hindy is still good for a couple of more years, with the interchange rules and a hard nosed, high work rate pack around him, why not ?. I would not begrudge him an offer like this, if it were true, and wish him well at that. Anything would be better than the hell he is in at the moment. Love the guy and he deserves to go out on a better note, and Gus has always favoured him as a player and I stress player !
