They cancelled his captain club membership and he mentioned that players and staff were in meeting discussing him. If the players or staff said they don't want the dickhead near them and the club revoked his privileges included in Captain club memberahip I don't have a problem.
If they start banning people from general memberships that is an issue, especially if his claims it is due to things he says on his podcast and page are true but there is definitely more to the story.
They didn't threaten to shut his page down, I can't see how they could so he is free to say and do as he pleases as long as it doesn't get into defamation areas. That said the club don't owe him anything or have to give him privileged access to events, players or club staff and he seems upset by that.
Telling people to get onto the club complaining is crap to as front line staff answering phones aren't the problem but they are the ones who cop the abuse.
I think this is a lose lose for the club. Social media is here to stay and any club whether it be the epl or American football are going to face criticism towards players , coaches or the administration. I don't know exactly what happened here and what is meant by abusive commentary.  If its simply calling out individuals on their performance- thats football. It has always happened and will forever happen.Â
Ill have to admit, I don't listen to their podcasts as much lately and prefer the 1ee one.. Â
Nothing wrong with critisism but don't expect to be invited to events with players and staff present which is what Captains club offers. Is he banned from attending games or just the privilegesbthat come with Captains club membership.Â
He has been sideline and in sheds mixing with players and staff according to comments. If hates the club so much and is negative around players it can't be good for morale. Â
If he wants to talk shit do it as much as you want but be prepared for blow back by the club. Also some fans are starting to call him out for how he acts at different games especially games where acts like a dickhead.
Maybe once he gets the attention he craves he will realise it isn't always a good thing.
Â
How does he act at games? I have heard anything of that nature? Not saying it's not true either.
It reminds me of a comment that lead singer of Nickelback once said in an interview I heard and always stuck with me after their first hit became global "it's great that people are hearing our music and we are reaching wider audience....oh not everyone is going to like you, you need to be able to handle that more than the fame of people loving you more."
He wanted to be on the shows and with the other podcasters and I felt he wouldn't handle it as he's not great with handling those who go against him. I mean that is human, a lot of people are like that.
Why was he around the players that long to spread so much negativity.Â
I wouldn't say lose lose. I mean maybe I am seeing this as less than it is but I don't think his following is as big as what many think. Not like this will hit the papers or radio.Â
If it does, I will come back here and say I was wrong and surprised but it'd be hard to believe the club jumped to this reaction just all of a sudden.
But yeah Chief there is more to it that both sides aren't saying or one side is saying that might not be true or is 100% spot on.
But I will say, they copped plenty of hate like this in 2024, they rallied around sites like Talkin Parra to bring back positivity. Why not do that this time around? If they did say give him access again, he more likely toes the line again and is super positive for the access. Something is not right with this all.
It might hit news once 1 of the factions trying to destroy the club get involved. We know too well some factions have buddies in the media who will let them attack the club any way they can.
If it does talking Parra won't be mentioned and he will be left out of the story as he is insignificant though which would be funny to watch him melt down then.
But before it goes through as a story, i believe those involved would do their due diligence. I know that many here would scoff at that but journo's, the top ones, rarely go through with a story without at least leaning on some sources that can offer information in the situation. If Parra have their reasons, which they should, it could lead to nothing. If it is about Talkin Parra, again as you said they are not big enough to care.
Poor bugger might need to spend some time away from the game and reconsider his priorities in life.
