Great we won the battle but not the war

Watch all the 6 agains, missed penalties and dodgy calls we get against us (more than usual). NRL will set an example of us to all clubs not to try and air the dirty laundry.

  • We have enough dirt on the NRL that they would be stupid to retaliate against us now.

  • Seriously where do people get these thoughts from. There would be criminal charges if they did such things .. with all the betting done on the game they would be goners

    • Well put Kenny Power, as soon as people get over the 'inferiority complex" that seem to go hand in hand with Parra supporters the better.

The reality is that Parra were born to be a powerhouse and its only through this complex we find ourselves crying "poor me".

Penrith were in a much worse position than us and have come through to be the powerhouse without any favours from anyone other than their own diligence. Stop threatening over how much dirt we have and start focusing on what we dont have!

      ie multiple premierships!

    • Happens all the time (NBA refs, some eventually caught). How many Storm personnel went to jail for cooking books? Gambling industry rife with cheating (horse racing etc). Eels last year were the only team I seen get done for the roll play the ball. NRL will have magnifying glass out. Im hopegul this year but they are going to have to be near perfect and trisls showed they were giving up a lot of 6 agains and were losing against full strength roosters

      • You didn't watch many games last year if you think we were the only ones penalised for the roll play the ball.

  • The NRL may just be grateful we agreed to settle the case before airing the dirty laundary. We didn't have to settle out of court and could of put them on the stand under cross examination. They owe us big time me thinks.

  • Can it happen? Sure. Will it? Well.....NRL fans are on our side, they will want Melbourne losing. Dud calls and fans will know what is going on.

  • I'd hope the NRL are able to move on quickly and would see it in their best interest to do so. They have not come out of this looking good at all.

It wouldn't surprise me if at some point during the season, they see an opportunity to screw us over and choose to stick the knife in. There's probably a bit of bad blood there, but not enough for an all out vendetta.

  • Ha I reckon we've just brought oursleves a premiership

  • The more likely outcome is they will not fuck with us anytime soon. We showed we're not going to be pushed around and we have enough dirt on them to bring the comp to its knees.
