Broncos are the only team capable of beating Penrith. So I'm backing the Broncs
Liam Martin will lead the fastest defensive linespeed the games ever seen and smash Haas and Carrigan leaving Reynolds and Walsh to make a plethora of mistakes off the back foot.
The Panthers are swarming and relentless, you simply can't make arbitrary mistakes against them, Walsh makes plenty , or they simply bludgeon you.
The Panthers highlight your weaknesses in real time, you stop Haas and Carrigan , Billy Walters becomes a bum , while their edge forwards are forced into mountains of work and asked to make uncomfortable defensive decisions.
Cleary a student of the game, father and son would have dismantled the broncos game plans months ago with the belief they'd be their grand final opponents .
No football team I've ever seen dismantles teams with a targeted game plan like the Panthers , especially when it counts.
The Broncos have had a great year but they'll be completely overwhelmed next week.

I tend to disagree. The Broncos definitely have the team to stop Penrith. They're both good teams defensively but I reckon the Broncos have the better attacking team. The Panthers rely on Cleary kicks whereas the Broncos have more than 1 weapon in their Arsenal. The only advantage Penrith have is grand final experience. Shut down Cleary and Crichton you shut down Penrith. Offloads, diverse tactics beat Penrith. Kevin Walters will do his homework just as much as Nathan Cleary. Cartwright also knows Penrith
The only things that could stop the Broncos winning next week are: lack of grand final experience and getting to over awed by the big scene. The Broncos have to relax, enjoy this week but stay 100% focused on what's worked for them all year.
I never thought I'd ever want the broncos to potentially beat a syd team 🤔🤷♀️
