Game Day Blog - Storm vs Eels

So, the Storm are at home tonight, but home is Docklands Stadium. Hopefully this favours the Eels and the Storm don't actually prefer it to AAMI Park!

Every week we seem to hear that this week"s game is a must win for the Eels and this game Toni is no different and possibly more important after the loss last week. Both teams have a few top shelf players missing from this game and will be testing their depth tonight and it's only my opinion, but I feel that this is where the Storm have got us.

The Eels will be up for this and so too will the Storm after a massive Bellyache blast due to their loss last week. It should be a decent game and I'm just hoping the Eels put up a fight and that it's a close result.

Its up to Gutho and Moses to get us over the line alongside our Tabulum Turtle Divers standard backline.

So, who wins and by what margin?

MOM?

Both teams are missing players but The Storm has the home ground advantage and thr Klein advantage.

Expecting a big Storm win tonight.

  Klein is not as bad as people think, we have more wins under him than most refs. Plus he has reffed us same amount as Melbourne and has given us more penalties than Melbourne.

Don't expect much from this game, I do expect a loss in order to manage my feelings. However I don't think we're too much out of it. If we monster the middle as BA would obviously demand, we could very well walk over them. Their middle is a bit soft at the moment, I think.

Hopefully that left edge of ours has spent a lot of time on defense this week.

On another note, first time at Marvel Stadium - expecting a shit experience given the circular nature of the venue, still annoyed that our game gets taken there of all of them. I get one game a year down here 😑

I tipped us in the tipping comp and I have been tipping us all year bar 2/3 games.

I'm going with the Eels again tonight, surely the boys aim up and knuckle down to secure a semi final birth..
