This evening in the shitty Sunday time slot we see our mighty Eels up against Fraud Stuart's Raiders..
It's always a difficult trip to the sphincter of Australia that is Canberra, but at least it's not in the middle of winter!
Hoping to see Blaze have more involvement and a bit more settled in the 6 and hopefully Gutho gets a bit more help with leadership duties. I'm also hoping Sivo is better for the run last week and has learnt to run during training this week.
It's always a fantastic feeling to beat pRicky's team and I'm hoping we all have that feeling tonight.
So, who wins and by what margin?
MOM?

They are our bogey team
How?
Our record against them is woeful. Go look at last 10yrs history
Only in Canberra really
I hope I'm wrong. I really do hope I'm wrong. But I think we're about to get hammered. Raiders outside backs are lightning. Their forwards are decent. Fogarty is a competent 7 with a huge boot.
Yesteday Penrith showed how tough it can be when you don't have a class 7 to finish your sets. They tried hard but it's a much bigger task to win, you have to work harder than ever for it.
Eels to be brave but it won't be enough. Raiders by 18+.
I just hope we get out of it without injuries.
Honestly, there is no reason for us to get hammered. Really there isn't when most of our side minus Moses and Cartwright are not there.
The game where we didn't have Gutho, Brown, Moses or RCG against Warriors, fair enough we had a lot of strike out. Not saying we can't but no excuse to get hammered. We lose just due to not scoring points then fair enough. Like 18-6 or something fair enough. We have our best forward pack and bench.
If we get hammered, who cares about injuries as we are bad enough as it is
You weren't wrong. I felt a disturbance in the force also.
I think we can win but we need to play to our strengths and not bloody out think ourselves like we did last week. Paulo to come off the bench and create havoc. Keep it tight middle third. Don't overplay our hand with the footy and look to link up amongst the forwards like we did in that first half against Penrith. Big game after we threw last weeks away
