After wrapping up the regular season placed nicely in 4th position and getting a second chance, the Eels head out to the arsehole of the world where during the Black Summer, recorded the hottest temperature in the world at one point.
Will this be a case of third time lucky and a third win on the trot for the boys against the premiers? I hope so.
After some pretty convincing wins over the past month and a massive win against the Storm last week, the Eels will go into this game full of confidence. The Panthers rested their team last week and will be fresh and roaring to go with Cleary back in the side too. Who will be the big boy that dumps Cleary on his mammoth chin? Will Nathan Brown come into the side and be sacrificed to take Cleary out? He should be!

The Panthers got embarrassed and completely outplayed and outmuscled by us last time round, Cleary got embarrassed and made a frustrated dummy spit tackle that got him suspended last time round. They'll be out for blood in front of their home fans, and if Parra can hold the line and repulse what they get thrown at them in the first 20, I reckon they are huge shot of mentally getting on top again and taking this one out.

Frustrate them Simon, that is what happened last time. Got frustrated and it is what led to Cleary's spear tackle. Tonight it seems the weather may play apart and Penrith prefer wet weather compared to us, use it to our advantage of just blocking our own line. Defence, defence, defence.

This has the makings of being 2021 week 2 2.0. It will be one of, if not, the best game of the year tonight. Loser will go into week 2 battered and bruised.
I mean Brissy would they say Cleary has been average at training? Of course he would be, champion players know what it takes to get up. One thing we have is we know they hate us, RCG being the main cause. They get frustrated by us and that is how we beat them again, keep giving them the ball and annoy the hell out of them, capitalise on their mistakes.
