I can't believe that the eels go into this match as favourites. Maybe it's the CommBank Stadium thing.
There will be a lot of interest in this match for a couple of reasons. The first to see how well the Rorters play, particularly without JWH and Keary and after beating the eels not long ago during magic round. Then there will be a great deal of interest to see how the eels play after a flogging last week at the hands of the suicide bombers.
Will the eels show up?
Will they still have a great attitude but just not want it as much as the Rorters?
Will Mahoney have a dig this week?
After last week's performance, the boys certainly have a lot of ground to make up before fans are not calling for BA and the King to pack their bags for a trip to the UK.
So, who wins and by what margin?
MOM?

I hope you put money on that Grunts ?
Luckily I didn't.
An absolute miracle.
I was going to put a bet on after the chooks scored , one of those exotic bets of chooks by 50+ then Brown scored .
Roosters by 40+
They have two very tall wingers so expect a lot of cross field kicks to their wingers especially on Simonsson's wing as he is a defensive liability.
MOM Tedesco
I am not sure, it can go either way. Joel Caine on Get em' onside tipped us 13+. I could see that or i could see Roosters 13+. I could see either team winning in Golden Point.
Keary being out leans towards this being a should win, how will we deal with that.
I am going to go, Eels 14 Roosters 12. Think we will bounce back in a grind. Matterson MOM in the middle.
Head = Roosters by 16
MOM Tedesco
Heart = Eels by 4

How can any Thinking Eels supporter have any certainty as to how this game goes?
Come on brains of 1Eyed, tell me why you are sure of the result you are predicting. I have no idea. Which Eels team turns up? Sybil? They either switch on and beat the Rorters, panic and play like kids with ADHD, hello Gutho and lose. All results are likely, Eels 13+ win, 13+ lose, Eels 0-13 Win, Eels 0-13 lose. 🤷♂️
I'm with you, My Bob. The Eels are Sybil and I have no idea which personality will turn up this week. All I know is it will be a different personality to last week, which can unfortunately just mean lacking polish or intensity in some new way just as much as it could mean aggressive and free flowing. Moreover, the Eels play Bunnies next, so it's also a question of whether we're going to see another mid-season slump? Who knows what the Eels will dish up?
Heart will always say big Eels win. Head says who knows.
The JWH out is bigger than the Keary out. JWH always turns up against us and he always makes big plays. He runs the middle for them. Despite the exploits of Suaalii in magic round, it was JWH laying the platform. Unsurprisingly we launched the comeback when JWH was off the field.
I think this is going to be closer than many think.
