Game day blog - Eels vs Raiders (final 2)

How much do you hate the Raiders? Almost as much as pRicky Stupid is my guess. The biggest game of the year is on tonight and we see the boys up against an in form Canberra team whilst the Eels are coming off a loss to the bogan pussies. The Eels will need to be at their absolute best to have a chance tonight. The home crowd will be loud and intimidating which should see the Eels win…should.I really hope for the players and coaching staff that they get to next weeks play off against the Cowgirls as I believe we’d be a chance and it would break that 2nd week of finals hoodoo. Can’t wait for this game. Bring it on bay beeee. So, who wins and by what margin?MOM?Go you Eels!!!

  • This is the biggest game in a long time, the result of this game can heavily impact 2023. Win and take confidence, regardless of what happens in week 3, into 2023. Lose and well could really effect us to the point where we see ourselves as not good enough.

Eels by 12, getting a couple of tries late in the contest, i think it will be close for 65mins.

    MOM, Brown.

  • I'd rather get beat 100 nil by the cowboys than lose by a point to Stuart.  And that's a fact.  If Ricky Stuart was run over by a septic truck I honestly would have not one drop of sympathy.  I've seen him in action in the flesh at Cronulla on numerous occasions and I can tell you I have a genuine hatred for the man.  I've seen him spit at women and walk up to the front of a 10 deep bar queue demanding to be served . Cunt of a man who an unfortunate accident would be fitting.

He was even a guest speaker at a league themed corporate event a few years back and refused to shake hands with a few dopes in Eels jerseys who tried to shake his hand. I mean as an Eels fan I don't get it , but they tried nonetheless.  I heckled him from the front row before it started so that may have contributed , I guess.

    • Should have just kinged the fucker, Wiz.

    • Haha typical Wiz....lol

    • And yet i feel he was still not too bad, think it shows that Dylan has one of his best years. But he didn't step up like he needed to after Moses went off.

I do agree however, this is a Dylan type game, it is starting to feel warm and dry up a bit in Sydney so the track might be good for us tonight.

        • Oh no definately not, just some have knocked him, not saying you have, but some have on other platforms and i think he was not great but was not awful either.

    • I concur Brissy

I think LB is right that it will be close for 60-70 minutes and then we get away

  • Someone needs to stop that Raiders fan with his drum getting into the stadium, CHN roused up a storm with it post match and the Raider was inciting the fans soo gotta shut that bloke down

  • The boys need to lift tonight and get us through to the prelim against the Cowboys otherwise it's another failed season.

    Raiders 32 Parra 8
