Well, here we go again...Parra vs Manly.
The eels had their bums handed to them by Manly last time these two teams played earlier in the season and will anything change this time? After weeks of speculation about how many games we've lost, the coach and the contracts of certain players splashed around media circles, we should all expect a big showing tonight by the eels. It will be interesting to see if it will bring the team together or dent the bejesus out of their confidence.
Manly have been cruising along nicely and have been tough even in their losses. Tommy Turbo is in a ridiculous vain of form much like Hayne in 2009 and will no doubt test the eels centres and wingers who have been lacklustre at best.
The biggest question I have for this game is will we see Gutho and Moses have an on field, slappy cat fight followed by getting down and having a good old fashioned root? Who can tell...
The eels have been stung hard by not having their home ground fortress to play at, but they have to get used to it and quickly. I'd be expecting a better performance tonight by the boys, but will it be enough? This is where the eels can shut the James Bloopers of the world up and show that they've been at the pointy end of the table all season for a reason.
So, who wins and by what margin?
