I'm in Cairns and it's very hot and humid here, so I can imagine what Darwin is like and how the boys are feeling!
Tonight we see the Eels take on Benny's boys in our annual home game in the Territory. Recent years have been unsuccessful for the Eels copping a couple of touch ups and hopefully this year is different. The Dolphins have their best 3 players out and even with Moses out, there are no excuses for BA and the team.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Talagi is used from the bench if he is used at all! I am one who agrees with his selection, he's just got to be in the team somewhere.

The bloys tried hard, the effort was there. Hardest pre season ever. We didn't chase the collision. Same shit, same result. Absolute embarrassments to the jersey.

This is pathetic. I haven't been this ashamed to be an Eels fan in many a year. 5 tries in 12 minutes from a bunch of park footballers with 7 regulars missing..

Pathetic from the coach. He was apparently happy at half time and wanted to play simple footy and strangle the Dolphins. What a stupid strategy. Tiring middle forwards means you get your speed men in the ruck. But we don't have any speed men. Instead we grind one out for set up plays. You're cooked BA.
Pathetic from the management for persisting with this ridiculous Darwin game when it's obvious the entire concept is a big detriment to our season.
