Game day blog - Eels vs Cowboys

This is arguably the match of the round with two top five teams battling it out in the top end.

Both teams coming off good wins last week and really, the Cowboys have been the surprise packets of the season.

Obviously the conditions should suit the Cowboys better as they are used to having cheesy groins and sweaty cracks, but I wouldn't rule out the Eels, particularly after the way they tore the Knights apart.

This should be a great game and I hope RCG puts JT on his overpaid arse!

So, who wins and by what margin?

Cowboys are a quality team, they've changed the way they play and similarly run through their opponents through the middle.

Their back rowers are powerful and skillful and Vh is doing some nice things.

They could easily win this, Not a fan of carrying jakie boy, played poorly laat week.

  Their backrowers are also penalty magnets to target. Nanai is the most penalised player in the competition.
  
  I said earlier in the week it's hard to get a gauge on the Cowboys at the moment. They've only played the one top eight team. All their wins have come against some pretty poorly performing teams.

Punch through the middle with forwards, compact the fuck out of their middle third defence and then let Mitch and Dylbags tear them a new one of from their edges with their running game with space to manoeuvre.
