Exactly what Gus said, does anyone believe that bullshite? That's just a way to get around the cap by saying 'Galvin really want to play for us and that's all we can give him'. Can't wait to hear the dollars that have been offered.

Gus - ' Galvin has come out and said his preference is to play at the Bulldog, so we are going to try and accommodate that'

  • Iam glad we missed him. I think we dodged a bullet.

  • Let the bitch go to the dogs, we don't need the drama.

Joash is the man and Hawkins has something special about him. We have heaps of options to play next to Moses.

  • I still hope we go after Tyran Wishart.

    • Wishart is a 9.

  • Honestly can't wait until we play the dogs over the June long weekend now.

I'll be there and I hope we put the dogs to the sword. I reckon Moses and co might get up for this game now big time.

  • "If you told that story to a horse it would kick your head in" is a saying my Grandmother used to use. . Gould has damaged both his and the NRL's repuation with this farce. I personally will not watch another show or game that he commentates on. Up until this point I thought he was good for the game. This is filthy business

  • Bulldogs have 20 players available for negotiation in come November 1 in addition to some good juniors coming through.

Harry Hayes would be the best Backrower at our club if we got him.

Bailey Hayward would be a great 6 with versatility once Twiddle is ready for a first grade opp.

Jordy Mazzone is a player of the future, raw but good.

    Luke Smith looks the goods.

    • Theres talk Mahoney may leave and Hayward will be the long term 9, so they wont let him go. I've watched luke smith closely hes a plodder, Hayes and Mazzone yes

      • Ive heard that about Hayward too, that Mahoney will get squeezed out. I don't know if Gus would be able to stop us from swinging in and making a really good offer to Bailey. Its all about timing and optics.

Hayward is probably the most impacted player out of the Galvin signing. Sexton could stay at 7 and Galvin to 13. Or Burton to centre and Kiraz, Critta or Xerri to Fullback.

Doesnt really matter what they do, what matters is they wont be able to offer Hayward 3-4 years on big money, 600 odd thousand for a really good utility from a good system is reasonable, really good defender.
Covers 6, 13, 9. As Twiddle comes through we have someone in the 17 who has no path blocking potential at all, just move him to 9.

JR is not silly hed see a Storm type player in Hayward. Hayes is a no brainer for mine.
