Not sure what the timeline of return is but probably 4 weeks or so.

Injury Update: Josh Addo-Carr
Following scans after Saturday’s game it was determined that Josh Addo-Carr sustained a broken thumb.
Josh had successful surgery today and at this stage we expect him to be back by Round 4.

I am starting to think the same. Samrani and Papalii as 18th and 19th man with Tuilagi starting the year in NSW Cup.

Will be the same set up as the trial in which it happened and we won. Russell and Kelly left side, Penis and Simmo on the right.
I suspect Joash for 18th man and Samrani or Guymer for 19th man. Depending if Ryles goes for a bigger body. Joash can cover the whole backline, halves and hooker in a pinch. The ultimate utility.
Fuck sakes, it's always two steps forward and three steps back.
Yep
isn't it ??? We just don't need it 😞🤬
A few months back we had two Australian rep worthy wingers. Today zip. Some big shoes to fill.
I'm concerned about Simonsson on one side, has a few mistakes in him. Samrani is busting a gut to get into the team, another youngster that will need time, but geez he has looked full on in the trials and ready to rumble.
I see it as a shootout between two combinations . Kelly in centres with Russell to wing against Samrani wing and Russell centre.
Have to fully expect injuries all season, our depth will be key and it's next man up. Kelly in for ado Carr will do a job
He will do A job, not THE job. We have a problem
Probably a stupid question but can't he strap it down and play?
Yep. He can by 4th round hopefully
