Finals Ready

Yeah we won the tough way. Almost invited the Bulldogs to steal the game from us. What's the difference this year to our intention to play finals before - close out. We took our chance and closed the game out in golden point. We defended set after set in that second half even when we couldn't buy any penalty from the ref. We could have lost that game. We found a way to win even when the other te had the momentum. We are ready for finals football.

  • have to disagree from what i have seen this year we just cant match it with any of the top 4 teams

  • I'm proud of em. Controversy just makes em work harder to win. They are a very tight unit. Yeah we prob ain't good enough to win the big one or aloud to but keep winning when the chips are down inspirational
    • Haha the bush coach strikes again fongy, he beat one of your loves, sir captain des you sick f$%k :)
  • There is no reason why the Eels can't make an impact in the finals series at all. They have a great coach, good quality halves, great fullback, great wingers and some good forwards. It's certainly obvious they miss Beau Scott and Kaysa Pritchard but considering the fact they won ugly last night without Scott, Pritchard and Manu out for 90% of the game and starting with Cameron King who hasn't played NRL for 2 years they did very well and was a courageous win.
They had no penalties at all in the second half yet the Bulldogs were inside the 10 all night, slowed down the play the ball all night, and were in the referees ears all night. The Eels defended their line well in the 2nd half for a good 30 minutes and were robbed of an obvious penalty try which would have given them a lead of 18 - 2 at half time.
