GC is a must win, Wests wasn't but GC is. They can still beat a team but they barely got through Saints for a win at home. At least we get them in a week where we have to wait for Russell to return to strengthen our backline.
Both Centres back for the Dogs is big. If we can get 3 out of 6 coming up: GC (H), Dogs (H), Manly (A), Warriors (H), NQ (A) and Melbourne (H* MR) we could alright.
If we make the 8 it would be scraping in. This squad needs finals for that momentum into 2027, but also our R&R now are into a situation where they are forced to act to assist with losing Hopgood, Doorey and Simonsson for the year.
I agree that every game is but some more than others. But yeah Titans were a different team under Holbrook.....in 2023. He was then sacked and Des got the job the following year. Hannay is now the coach and they are 1-4, scraping a win at home v Saints. Not saying that means they are easy beats, we still need to be on.
But if you are to counter, get your information straight before hand to save the hassel of embarrassment.
Arthur got to a GF. Not many coaches can claim that. We made the semi's in year 4 under Arthur, would have made it in year 3 if not for the cap scandal.
Finishing the year as best you can helps your squad and morale in the building. Finishing this year in the 8 would mean finishing strong.
"What do you folks want? If you're not conviced by Ryles/Players by all means, but this stupidity of "no good scrapping" and "what's the point" etc...I don't get. Most teams have no chance at the prem this year so might as well fuck it off.
Do you…"

"Yep, very weak press conference in my opinion! Can't see Bellamy, Bennett, Robinson or even Stuart not speaking up when the refereeing was clearly diabolical "

No good scrapping into the 8 to be rolled out week 1 what's the point? Eels won't make the 8
Well having some finals experience is better than none. Sometimes it is better getting a feel then use that for the next year.
Like with Brad Arthur after 10 years.
