We are nowhere near a spoon side. Spoon sides don't scramble in defence like we did at end of game with so many players clearly playing injured. Spoon sides don't have the attack that we have and fight back from 14 points down to win games.
Our defence is shocking especially in the middle of the field and we give up too many easy metres and field position but 7th and 8th spot is usually filled by average teams who can either defend but not attack or attack and not defend. That is where we sit. Not saying we will make the 8 but if tigers are considered a top 8 possibility we have to be a possibility as well considering poor goal kicking was the difference between a win and a golden point loss today.

Nowhere near a spoon side ? You think so ? I guess time will tell! Penisini won't play for a couple more weeks according to Ryles! Moses is clearly injured, Longi is out for another 2 months, Simmonson is injured, Hopgood and Dorey out for the season, Pezet is as useless as tits on a bull, Twiddle as good as he seems to be won't be used by Ryles unless no other option, Moses game and goal kicking this year is below par our ruck speed is slow motion, Junior is way past his best and Kelly is useless and there are no great future signings so I cannot see the Eels getting anywhere near the top 8 but much closer to bottom 3
at least spell players names right, its Iongi not Longi. Doorey not Dorey. Simonsson to finish u off
we are not a spoon team, have u not watched Dragons, Titans etc

Why? You obviously know whom I'm referring too 🤪 You could at least use a capital when starting a sentence Dragons are terrible for sure but the Titans are much better this year. They'll be difficult next week
What do think LB ? I'll let you be the judge! As you seem to think what I say is just too unbelievable to be true! So what's your expert opinion LB? Eels will finish where this year? Why are the Panthers so 'Super Hyped' full of energy, no player fatigue, no injuries this year so far? Are refs controlling games and affecting outcomes ? What's your opinion
Considering you just said Titans look too good under Holbrook, says about enough of your thoughts on the game haha. You do know Holbrook left in 2023 right?
I see us making a late surge like last year but maybe just missing.
Penrith are in a new level, they are fit, motivated and so far are free of injuries. Clubs can have that. But even then, 2024 Cleary missed half the year and they still finished 2nd and won the comp. They have no faitgue as they are resting players with 10-15 to go as they win by so much. They start well, gain a good lead then just go through the motions as teams begin to shoot themselves in the foot with mistakes and they capitalize on the back of it. Every player at Penrith has a role, they do it so well.
Mate you have this obsession with Penrith, that they manipulate the ref, all teams do it. Whenever there is a new rule, what do all coaches do? Figure out how to exploit it. Now some teams do it better than others, but all do it. Is that on the refs? No that is the team that can do it so well. Again, maybe they are just that good, like they have been for years. Cleary missed a lot of football in those 4 premiership wins, but now since they have been lucky with injuries it is a theory of them being on supplements?
Also, you abuse the refs for today, fairly enough, but then knock Ryles saying he pretty much he has no idea. I ask which is it? Refs hate us and give us a shit go? Or is Ryles so bad that the refs become irrelevant as we will lose anyway?
"Yes, Holbrook is doing a great job for Newcastle. People do make mistakes but you made two mistakes. Thinking Gold Coast was Newcastle and that Holbrook was their coach.
Why would i be embarrassed? I didn't say it confidently."
"Different era's of footy. Game is a lot faster and stronger today than back then. We cannot compare teams at all. I always say it is like horse racing, those who try to compare Phar Lap with stayers today simply cannot as the way the horses today…"
"I agree with the complaining about players filling out the squad I'm just not sure what Charlie has that makes him an NRL player . I haven't seen leg speed from him , haven't seen an ability to ball play with any tempo , he doesn't fold blokes as an…"

Don't do drugs kids.
NO they won't . They'll be lucky to avoid the spoon. The Eels season is well and truly over. Ryles is a second rate coach. There team is woefully poor

So is it the refs or Ryles that makes us lose?
