This game shapes as a danger game for the eels with possibly a fired up Panthers team playing their first game at a big and new stadium just up the road. The Panthers have done a lot of soul searching this week and who knows what team will show up, but it’s against their western rivals so I’d expect improvement.
The clash to watch has to be the halves. Cleary vs Moses. The incumbent NSW sook who is being touted as walking straight back into his blues jersey yet doesn’t deserve to be the South Grafton Rebels potato peeler, will be looking to have a good game.
Moses will be out to show Freddy what he can offer in front of an incumbent who is horribly out of form.
I have a flexi tomorrow so tonight is Friday night for me. I’ll be ON IT!
Who will win and by how much?
MOM?
GO YOU EELS!

I’ll say eels by 8.
MOM Fergo.
Very nervous about this game. We seem to play a lot of sides at the wrong time. Penrith will come out firing. Hopefully the home crowd will get us home. Parra by 7 but wouldn’t be surprised if we drop our third game in a row. Talk about sitting on the fence! Just call me Gus Splinters Gould.
I tend to agree.
With origin talk well upon us, their halves will want to put in a big one.
I think Penrith look good odds to bounce back personally.
I'm very nervous also the Panthers have got to win one sooner or later just hope it's not tonight, 18-12 not sure which way
As the week has rolled on, I have become less and less comfortable. The media have really put the acid on the Clearys and the entire panthers player squad. They are likely to respond well and have the roster to beat any team.
Of course, they could continue being a rabble, in which case we will smash them. However, I'm not tipping that.
I think the Eels are more likely to win at home after two losses. It will be tight though.
Eels by 4.
This will not be an easy game for us, Riff have players hurting after being dropped and all the drama's at the club could spell danger for the eels. Its always a hard game for us, traditional neighbourly feeling and hatred abound between the two clubs. Would also say that the DWZ aspect aspect may play a part as well.
Riff has big pack and I think a better bench than we do, so the eels have to play much harder then they have to get the points. Danger men will RCG & Kikau,
Heart says eels by 2, MOM Lane
The panthers players are hurting, why aren't the Eels players after their last two performances?
Its not possible really HKF to say with any certainty that the eels are not hurting, with the minimalist reshuffling from last week if this team does not perform tonight, there will be a riot in the stands and players who don't perform have to be dropped. It will also put huge pressure on the Wenty game on Sunday as well. Have little doubt that game will have a fair number of the coaching staff and possibly the CEO and GM in attendance as well.
Other words a real audition will be in play.
The effort was there HKF, that's all that matters... not the results. Apparently..............
RCG is a grub and and way overrated
