            • Thanks Daz, from memory it has great history and probably some nice coffee; I can then head over to the Carribean for some cricket. We can make another Hangover movie....

              • El Salvador is cool, Mitchy, with awesome coffee. There is a (dormant) volcano just north of San Salvador where you tour cafes serving coffee made from beans produced in the mountains to the west. Basically over-caffeinating on the jungle slopes of the volcano.

When the yanks deport you, ask if they can drop you off south, in Honduras, in the gulf on the border El Salvador/Honduras (west side), and go to Isla del Tigra. Then you can watch cricket on TV on a volcanic island with all the monkey lala's you can manage

  • Why would anyone go to the USA to watch nrl when you can watch it here. If I'm going to the USA it's during the nfl season.

    • No interest in going back to the states . Was in Sanfran was looking at stuff on a shelf in a Drug store as they call them when this Big negro bloke in his  bullshit bike gear and push bike heard me and she who must be obeyed talking heard say Fucking Germans . I turned and said im not a Fucking German the bloke behind the counter who was another large Negro told him to fuck off . So fuck the USA

    • Absolutely. Have you been to a game? Was at Chargers V Raiders in 2024 at SoFi Stadium, incredible. Except for the $30 beers, they do sport amazingly well.

      • Yeah NFL do it great. Ive been to two games. Both in Tampa, as i support them. in 2016 and 2017 was still at uni,

        Tampa v Carolina

        Tampa v Atlanta.

Seeing both a day time and night game was an experience both times. Was also there when they inducted Jon Gruden in the ring of honor. Great experience.

        • Sensational, LB. Would've been great at Tampa I bet.

Yeah agree, the Melbourne game looked promising, but the price is crazy.

          • Well I did New Year's Eve in New York, -15c.

Got on a plane to Tampa, straight to the stadium, 26c degrees.

Beautiful weather. When I bought beers, the people there couldn't believe i was from Australia and said this weather must feel like home

I went to a night time game and the weather was like spring here. Light cool breeze but still warm. Just beautiful place to be.

      • No, I'm going to see my 9ers v rams in Melbourne but would love to go to a game in the states. A work buddy went to Dallas last year (cowboys fan) and seen the cowboys v giants i think it was, high scoring game that went to overtime, said it was sensational except $30 a beer.

      • NOS, was that $30 for an entire jug?
