Valued Eels Members,
In 2017, our Eels team and I were so proud to see you out in force to support us at ANZ Stadium, culminating in an incredible 41,287 fans cheering us on in our home preliminary final. There is no better way to prepare our team for playing in front of a huge crowd than playing in front of blockbuster crowds on a regular basis.
We are excited to announce, firstly to our Members, that the Eels will co-host the inaugural Sydney Double Header with the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 3 next year. This fantastic day of Rugby League will see the South Sydney Rabbitohs take on the Manly Sea Eagles at 5pm, followed by our mighty Parramatta Eels playing 2016 Premiers, the Cronulla Sharks. Our players and I are excited to be part of an event that is sure to be a highlight of the 2018 season. It is great to see the NRL working with clubs to develop marquee events in Sydney that will attract great crowds.
As an Eels Member, given that this will be an Eels home game, you will receive access to this blockbuster event as part of your 2018 Membership, providing you access to not one, but two outstanding NRL games – an exciting experience. Understandably, given the unique nature of this event and the fact we will need to accommodate the fans of our Eels and Souths, you will most likely not be sitting in your usual seat at this game – I think this is a small inconvenience to participate in this landmark Double Header event. Rest assured, our Membership Team are working overtime to ensure you have an outstanding game day experience. They will be in touch with further details on your seating arrangements in the next few weeks.
All of us here at the Eels are committed to finding ways to continue to improve our game day experience and create events that help promote the game we all love, Rugby League.
Thank you for supporting us a 2018 Member, and being #ParraProud

LOL - Brad should not allow the NRL to write his press releases - this is soooooooooooooooo unexciting.
Nothing about jumping castles for the adults or free beers for the kids.
Lift your game NRL.
at home weekend for fans just over summer stint.
As a season ticket holder for many years and having excellent seats, I'll be really pee'ed off, if some shoe-in that happens to just go for the one game gets my seat (even more so if it's another team's supporter) and I end up disadvantaged.
We contribute to the ongoing costs of our football team and therefore as long term paying members should be looked after first.....
Brisbane double headers are always a sell out crowd Keet.
I heard some fans go for one game only and they resell the seats for the 2nd game.
Full fare of course.
They should do this with finals games - would get the 80K crowd imo.
Hi Brett,
Yes, I agree it will be a fantastic atmosphere and of course I would not miss it.
BUT... why should I, as a member who has contributed over $20,000 of my hard earned money over the years, give up my seat to someone who may only have paid $40 on the day??
Keeping in mind that up until last season, it's been a long time since I got value for money......Why disadvantage the people who pay your wages????
I agree with Kevin. I pay more than $200 a year for my season tickets and selected my seats because I like where I sit. I'm not very keen on being asked to move for some random Souths supporter who may or may not only go to a handful of games that season.
