    • Also their short passing through the middle, as to why they bought de Belin to facilitate that, collapsing the ruck with quick movement causing the defence to fatigue and move with the momentum it's nice to see Brown and Wisemental's structure with some Ryles influence. Saw the space that opened for Russell to go one on one with Pauga for Fox try, quick passing along the line it was nice shifting and created that space for our attackers as Roosters were hesitant to jump causing a massive gap or overlap. That play also was assisted by Smith, pivoting back in pretending to run with a step, Wong hesitated and created that space to shift it.

There is not only confidence in their structure but belief. They all are buying into Ryles.

  • U can't have lightning breaks with beer prices so high and the way their checking bags just feels like someone's making money .while  kids over the road  standing in the rain with a fishing rods

    • Apparently your chance of being struck by lightening is one in a million. So, if there's a threat to the players who need to take cover, shouldn't fans, stuck on a muddy hill, be shown the same level of safety?

      • My Mother once said to me when I was a about 10 years old.....haven't you got enough sense to get out of the rain David.

If the cap fits wear it....those silly enough to sit on a muddy hill do not need to sit there, they are not entertaining anybody, we have no priorities to look after stupid's !!.....the players get paid the big bucks to entertain us.....that means they are more important and why god call's out, " how many helicopters, row boats and life savers do you want me to send"!

        • In the history of the game has a player (or fan, for that matter) ever been struck by lighning? I was unaware it was such a pressing problem.

          • A few soccer players have died from this. Check on YouTube.

            • Fucking.Hell. This is crazy

Warning: video contains death. Don't know how it was only one

Can we stop talking about this now?

      • Yeh.... but nah.

You will categorically NOT find Randy in an open field with metal goalposts at each end....Nope...nah-ah.

How close have folks been to a lightening strike? It is quite memorable...you put it in your notebook

  • Lot of people on TCT are complaining about JDB. Yes he struggled a bit in attack which is natural since it's his first ever game for us but defensively I thought he was great

    • lol they complain cause he is not Payne Haas. What they don't realise is his minor details in attack by being the link man and in defence where his 2nd man in efforts were fantastic was the difference. He is there to set the tone in defence. Thats his main job. He was pretty good last night, particularly for a soon to be 35 year old.

"Sorry EA, I thought it might be dated in that sense.
Why do you feel he was disappointing in the tail end of last year when he went to cup? Is it just one of those things, looks like nothing would worry him now."
