What are you talking about? He came to the club as a Centre. He played over Russell later in the year. Ryles even dropped Kelly early in the year and brought Samrani in before he himself got hurt. As soon as he was fit, he was back in.
If we get Best for 2027 for example, Samrani wont start. Simple as that. Not because we don't view him as a Centre, it is due to having a better option.
Yep. Samrani far outplayed Russell at centre in attack, though his defence wasn't as good. But also, guaranteed starters would get pai a fair bit more than fringe first graders, who get paid more than backups. If we already have Penisini on the books for 2028 and we are looking at signing Best, then the only offer we can make to Samrani is for a fringe first grader. It makes sense that he would be looking for a top 17 spot somewhere before accepting a lesser offer to stay at Parra.

Whether the game itself demands him to play another position or not, he is a Centre until further notice. Therefore, when comes to Round 1, incase of another signing, Samrani will be starting Centre. Now our pursuit of Best shows we want an upgrade, until then Samrani is starting.

Right and that's what you think. But you said he is only playing Centre due to injuries which is not true. He is playing Centre as Ryles, your lover who can do no wrong, named him there over every other Centre. Dropping Kelly after round 1 and Russell to have Samrani in the team.
Ryles sees him as a Centre, he came to the club as a Centre. Is he a back-rower? Probably yes, but right now that's what your husband Ryles sees him as. Or will you admit he has it wrong or is it MON telling him to name Samrani?

On the plus side his big strong and has tackle busting ability. On the negative he has a few errors in him. His a good project to work on. Has plenty of upside.
