Happened a lot sooner then I thought it would, but wheels already falling off at belmore. At least he can develop up in the coaches box
"Thanks for your valued input around these young players. Always appreciated mate."
"I will be honest I don't know much about the other clubs to comment about any possible availability issues. But I agree it still hasn't been good enough for a couple games. We won comfortably last week with a similar lineup. "
"I understand what you're saying, but is it not the same for all clubs? OR Have we just met the last few clubs when they have not been in our current position? (ie had their #1 side v our back up's back up's)

EA, Graham, Tad .....read what I said! Again!
Tad, what is a primary source? especially from the ABC
Graham, Cleary is an out and out champion but apparently he cant play Origin. 17games, 8 wins and two MOM but he can't play Origin....How many Primary sources? 110 at last count!
I'm on Blaize Pops, and confident.
DId you watch JF. Awful performance.
Yes EA, watched it again with no commentary, and no teamlist and can't identify these boys like you.
Still I thought early for the first 30 minutes, where we led, we looked okay with our forwards particularly showing out.
But it couldn't last as the opposition were too big, too fast and too ugly.
They are a really a unlikeable mob as well they know how to rub it in when ahead.
Lorenzo was a standout, again, but unsupported when he ran the ball.
Also Hudson and his back-up were great and I can see Hudson having a long career, hopefully with us.
Finally was that Bamblett at 1, he was very poor competing for the ball in the air, but smart in attack. Always next week.
We started strong as you said. The moment the bench middles came on, we lost the ruck and were never able to get control of it again. Some very ordinary efforts in defence. Samueala was awful. Some others had poor efforts awell.
Renzo seems to lack combinbation with some of the players because as you say he often ran by himself with no support. He had some threatening moments but he did make a couple errors as well which should be noted.
Hudson to me still requires a lot of work on his defence. He scrambles very well in defence which shows he has a great attitude but his first contact is often poor. I thought lot of defenders had poor first contact today as well. However, lot of poor effort as well in maintaining a unified defensive line and keeping their legs moving for offloads or inside passes.
Nah Bamblett is suspended. He got sent off against the Dragons couple weeks ago which I thought was harsh. He tried making a try saving tackle but clothes line the player when he got wrong footed. So he is currently only playing school boy footy. We are currently on our 4th choice fullback in Flegg. Twiddle, Bamblett, Ambichini are all unavailable.
Are these are the guys the club will be relying on developing into good FG players?
That's a few floggings in a couple of weeks.
Unfortunately I would say half their full strength team are currently unavailable due to injury or playing in Cup. For example we are up to our 4th choice fullback and got around 4 outside backs injured. Our centres today was a backrower and a 19 years old in his second game. But still no excuses. Should have done better today. Especially since the disappointment today was the forward pack which was very strong on paper. The bench just didn't turn up today. We dominated the start but when the bench came on the field together it just went downhill . Compound with poor completion rate.
EA, as usual i ask, how did Funa-Iuta and Talagi go starting? I see Funa-Iuta played most if not all the game.
Also, is Shane-Tapau worth a consideration in future or just making numbers at the moment?
Funa Luta was probably our best player. He is developing really well. Works his ass off today in defence which is something many others didn't do today. But I will maintain this again, he will be a better middle than edge from what I have seen. Just lacks the line running and destructiveness to be a backrower of my liking.
Talagi is really building well in Flegg too. Would not surprise me if he skips SG ball next year and starts the season straight in Flegg like Tuivita did last year. Very surprised how good he is going. Imagine an 18 year old prop starting and handling himself against 21 year olds. At full strength he will drop back to the bench though.
Shane Tapau is only 19. I will reserve judgement till next year on him when he will get more game time in Flegg. Right now he is just filling in for injured players
I saw him for NSW Funa-Iuta and found his movement lacked and wasn't agile enough for the edge, missed a couple of tackles against more speedy runners. I can see him as a middle.
Talagi I think you're right about that he could just stay in Flegg starting and how it should be, if he is handling it just let him develop there, not much he will learn further in SG ball. Fact he went from 18th man to bench part player to now starting in only a few short weeks shows how talented and quick of a learner he is.
I think we could see Tuivaiti and Talagi front row hopefully in 2027.
