Yep Mataele was great. Keir too playing big minutes. I thought Ryda was great off the bench.
Yes Lewis needs a massive off-season in the gym. I think Grieg is back from suspension next week. Same with Simmonson for concussion. Can we bring Matto & Hands back from loans if their seasons is over lol?

Volkman & Twiddle ran the show in attack. Rnezo took more of a back seat. He threw a poor pass in the first half. Defensively he was better than Volkman but still missed a few. Not sure where he fits next year in NSW Cup with Volkman & Hawkins at the club.
I know a pre-season can change players a lot for e.g. Smith & Tuivita were Flegg players in 2024 and mainstays in NRL 2025 but I think Renzo is decent time away from NRL.
Eels are to verse Warriors in order to make the GF. Warriors lost today to Dragons who are now in the GF. Will be very hard to win with the young team we have.
