          • He's a big game player, that's all I need to say.

          • Bellamy didn't have him in the 17 because Whishart is more versatile... whereas Pezet is a pure half.

Personally, I don't think Pezet is as great as everyone thinks, at this stage of his career. (previous injuries hampered his develop). Having said that he is still a better option than Joash in the halves, because Joash isn't a 5/8

        • So move our best player to fit an inferior player 😂 no thanks.

  • Please for the love of god can we just be happy with this signing and optimistic. Finally this club has some semblance of a future and proper hope for sustainable success.

Clubs would absolutely kill for Pezet and Moses, forget this 6/7 stuff, it's a fabrication, it's about working together under strong leadership and with a clear plan. Ryles, Moses and Pezet will have that.
Iongi is going to absolutely explode next season, he will be a huge threat with ball in hand, Moses and Pezet are both elite defenders. They can both kick general play expertly.
    This is a premiership spine!!!

    • Agree with DYNASTY.LOADING and Parrafan101 . Pezet is a better all round package than Galvin. Galvin doesn't like to get tackled so he tends to pass to guys real close to him rather than get tackled. 50% of Galvin's passes are forward. Pezet's been in a good system plus he knows Ryles plus he doesn't walk around looking/acting like a dickhead. Fingers crossed we get Pezet.

    • It depends on what his price tag is. If the deal is good for us I'm ok with it, I'm sure we can find a spot for him. I wouldn't go breaking the bank for him, way too many question marks that are yet to be answered. It's important to not get emotional about these things, in fact the higher the salary a player commands the higher the level of scrutiny should be applied to if our club should recruit them.

      • Yeah agreed re pricetag, he is worth 650 per season for 3 seasons.

The people who are freaking out about the 6 vs 7 are letting emotion cloud judgement.

Moses blurs the lines between the halves roles more than any other player. He runs just as much as Luai, kicks more than almost everyone and still commands his team around the paddock.

Pezet just adds some play making capability, reliable defence and genuine halfback coverage. He will take a lot of pressure of Mitch.

  • Until it's a signature nothing is 100% and even then it means little these days.

  • He will replace Moses when he retires

  • I would persist with Joash, and bring Lorenzo in at the back end of the year, if he's going good in cup still, parra need more middles then anything, there's no point having a good halves if you don't have the right forward pack, your halves can't do anything without a good forward pack.

I reckon Lomax will stay another year.

"RIghtm so why throw Talataina, a rookie who i very raw, in then if he is due to fail with that notion about the forwards? If you see the chance of improving your squad, according to Ryles, you do it. It seems Ryles sees Pezet as an improvement. We…"
