    • If Pezets a better player it's not an issue loosing players that's key and if we are to hold the juniors back a year the Papali'i experiment still remains. The last mentioned has already spent an off season there and has another off season with the same guys there also.Does Pezet move the needle that much and what is the windfall for Parra here. All we are doing is giving Pezet a gap year and a whole year of experience before he moves to the premiers.

As for the juniors it's all while and good but transference is the key here we can name drop all we like but until one of these guys step foward we've got nothing.Brown stepped into FG at 18 represented his country at 19 and showed immense promise very early that's sought of player we need coming through talent wise.

    • I love that comment that Lachie Galvin should not of been allowed to leave.  His father though said the talent id was not aknowledged. This is a prime example of hindsight and you cannot say it is anything but subjective. Lets say he was identified as a talent. He would not have made first grade and starred like he did with Tigers, making it more subjective,

"Sliding doors" and the irony are always mystifying but we always have some one who will say " I TOLD YOU SO "

      • When are people going to get over Galvin plopp. Talk about being butt hurt.  The chicken has flown poopa

    • ...and if we signed Pezhed for 3 yrs whoever this clown is would tout it as being the best thing ever....and if we didn't sign him at all, best thing ever.

We definately tried to get him on a longer deal. This plan was hatched after we were rejected (too uggers)

We are on Plan v3.0....at least

      • I didn't know we had an Australian Schoolboy 7 in our ranks, that is interesting 😂

        • I was unaware too. It's a good signpost

      • Actually, if you follow the logic, it's baffling. But in the opposite way you'd expect. But it's not baffling the assumptions aren't questioned.

        • If this 1yr was planned to preserve jnr pathways I could get behind it, but that doesn't seem to square up.

It feels like damage control PR, which is a shame
