Not really. Both circumstances make sense. We need to win as many games as possible this year, and even having Fa'asuamaleaui for one year is better than zero. But it's also likely some dope will think it's a bad outcome and worthy of a HUR HUR 1 YEAR DERP type joke.
So 3 players on 1yr contracts next year then?....something something about building a culture
We had a bunch of players in their first year at the club this year and they all integrated just fine. We also have several players off contract (Paulo, Walker, Addo-Carr, Penisini, Russell and Tuilagi) and any of them could be in their final year at the club. I epxect them to play their best just like the four who left us right after the grand final. These guys are all in the same position as a one year player. Either not here last year or not here next year. They are professionals. Their job is to win footy games.

Matterson is an outlier. He isn't a good example for any player, especially a one year player. He has been poor for the past two seasons.
You are correct Pou, I am looking forward to the time that Randolph actually sees something positive within the club....of course his addictions are a problem, especially when he said he is addicted to Parramatta.....don't you realise somethings are bad for you when you are addicted Randolph?
