So listening to Foran on the Big Sports Breakfast this morning one thing became clear. He is VERY aware of us not being good enough in attack and that it falls on him and Norman. A couple of things he said stood out. One being that he is finally now without any pain almost. Also that this week they have really focussed on completion, repeat sets and building pressure along with unleashing their attacking weapons.
I'll say it hear and now. Against the Panthers we will see an attacking brand of footy we have yet to see from the Eels. I'm expecting a 30 points plus effort.

That's sound good steve hope it happens we need a big win hope its 38 to 0 or more
Doers do
Those who can't, talk about doing
I'd rather see a slow grinding defensive win, than Parra throwing the ball around. It's obvious that defence is the Eels strength this year. In years gone by - Brian Smith days, the Eels were one of the best defensive sides, but their attack was far from the best which I guess prevented them from winning a premiership. I think this year having the best defence could go a little further than days gone by.
You need to be able to win your 8-0 games but ask you 30-24 games when the opposition score some great/lucky/skilful/indefensible tries.
I just hope concentrating more on attack this week doesn't affect the parra 'wall' we have been blessed to witness so far this year.
Oh yes the Parra Wall !!! there's no way those nasty little Raiders will get through or over it, or will they ??
I am backing us to score at least 4 probably 5 tries against panthers. We were actually unlucky not to score 2 additional tries against the Tigers (through semi and Jennings) and we scored 3 against the dogs and the cowboys even though we were clearly not connecting. We have the firepower and I am expecting the attack to really click this game.
Such is life lol !!
