Dylan Brown

Not sure if his being too respectful staying at a club till the end that gave him everything or his heart isn't in it for Newcastle couldn't blame the kid though. Was a great deal and set for life.

No chance would happen would you have him at Parra again if things don't work out but in the centres. Do a better job the Russell or Penensi

      • He is definitely not suited in the halves so not sure what position he is NRL standard.

  • His form is actually very consistent- not great, not bad - just middle of the road. He's worth about $500,000.

  • I think it's more that Newcastle can't fit him in the salary cap for this season. Ryles has moved on from Brown, so should we. Good luck to him. He gave us plenty of great moments, and a lot of mediocre moments too. Will be interesting to see how he goes from next year.

  • Probably wanted some easier games in cup the bloke is lazy as fark.

  • And he's going from a club in rebuild, to another club which may lose either their coach or their fullback to some renegade rugby competition. Their roster is shit and in need of an overhaul. Great choice Dylan. What a shitfight.

    • You forgot one thing he's got 13-14 million good reasons guaranteed regardless his future is set.

  • On his day he could have been a lot like a Gareth Widdop of when he was at Melbourne stood up when their big names were not playing. But Dylan just hasn't got the mentality to stand up when his been needed too. As Andrew Johns said his way too laid back it’s fine to be like that off the field but whilst playing the game you need to raise your voice at times especially when Parra had lots of injuries.

    • Widdop was a good solid and dependable player, he played for the coach and his team, on the other side of the ledger there's DB who played for himself, he could never work outside the square or use any if at allgrey matter that floated around in that tiny head of his. Not sure if anyone here picked up on the team running out onto the field against the saints and in Darwin with whatever disco biscuit music was playing over the PA and the camera focuses on DB and he's bopping out having a little dance like he was Kevin Bacon in Footloose . Happened more than once. First time I seen this I thought " here we go he's on today" but alas got nothing out of him ,,,,,again

      • Explain to me how DB is playing for himself exactly.

Who was the only guy chasing back from the other side of the field when teams made breaks for the previous 2 seasons.

I understand his form hasn't been there but in the same breath neither has the team.
