For the life of me I don't understand how the club dealing with players coming off contract the following year aren't given a deadline .
If we want to re-sign them they have until September 1st in the penultimate year of their contract or the club will look elsewhere no exceptions.
This wouldn't allow the garbage that goes on with Isaac Moses , other clubs wouldn't legally be able to contact our players (although they do).
There would be no Dutch auction but a take or leave it attitude, if they decide not to accept see you later.

Thing with Talagi now is that we signed Lomax, so he is at the mercy of Gutho. If Gutho has 1-2 years left then his path is clear, but Gutho could choose to go longer. Talagi might need to be 14 for a year or two and i do not think that would be a bad thing. But if he has a chance to start elsewhere right away i do not blame him looking. With Dragons, he could play either Fullback, Centre or Five-Eighth there.
if you look at the pathways of some great centres and fullbacks, they have all started from the wing. Why isnt t hat an option?
