Cleary's ankle broken in preliminary final, with foul play (hip drop tackle). Stretchered off. Ref sends the Knight off because of extreme risk/damage.
Simmonson's ankle broken in Round 5, with foul play (mid air tackle). Stretchered off. Ref sends the Tiger to the sin bin for 10 mins, after telling bunker "it looks bad".
Luckily there is not a double standard where some teams are take care of and others have to fend for themselves. Sarcasm emoji's galore.
Double standard or the new standard?

Given his lengthy recovery into next year, poses an interesting conumdrum for Penrith. How do they move him on for 2027 to make way for Jett Cleary and some cap space to retain his big brother.
The repercussions from those 2 injuries today are HUGE.
LOL .....Mallee said it was the tackle before that caused him to change his running style.....staff picked up but couldn't get the message out in time....incompetent bastards!
Does anyone think Malee has a career in the "bunker"......??
Knights 16-0 in second half fo win when down 12 to 13 players is called sweet justice for the double standards
Agreed
100% correct Daz. Whilst I feel for Cleary if it was one of ours its 10 in the bin if that.
One thing of note to me. This is the roster that Peter O'Sullivan built. And they did it today without Saifiti and D Brown. No real weaknesses and everyone gave 100%. To do this with 12 men against the Riff is unbelievable.
Why we didn't give MON the bullet and grab POS when he was available reflects badly on those in charge. If you go after Bennett, then you also go after some like POS.
Bennett and POS didn't even have clubs to go to for a long period of time , and yet we sat idle . But hey MON still has that business degree , and we held a 6 month long coach appointment ceremony.
Holbrook and Madge both didn't have an NRL job and both may go on to grab a premiership in their first season in their new jobs lol.
Just watched the replay in slow motion. It was his leg jammed under the tackle and then pushed back by the other tackler that broke the leg not the tackle itself. The player should challenge this.
And how must the Titans be feeling right now after sacking Holbrook?!
I'm sure Gordon Talis will say Obrein could've won this year just like he did with Walters to save his stupid pride lol. He wasn't an owner then but he was instrumental in Holbrooks sacking and even went on local radio up there stating that Des was the way forward and Holbrook couldn't win a premiership . If he does , will anyone dare replay the snippet ? Doubt it.
I guarantee it won't be played on the Matty Johns show . It's quite hypocritical how they will take the piss out of everyone on that show , but have not once dared say anything about the Titans sacking Holbrook to Matty or Gordon.
