Too many errors, too many penalties. We made 125 more tackles. Our tackle efficiency % was actually better than the storm, that's how many more tackles we made. Throw in 20 minutes at 12 and an interchange player only playing 10 mins to cover a hai meaning only 2 forward rotation and the players were exhausted and it could of gotten even uglier than it was

Correct Archie. We had last years game to look at, to ensure no repeat. And we served up the same shit and got walloped by 50. Makes you wonder do we do our homework? Do we change anything? Nope. Same putrid stuff. Pathetic. Ryles had a lomg eay to go.
We were given no space, they were given space and time with the ball. We tried to slow them down and the ref got pedantic (a nice way of putting it without blue and gold goggles on). In thise circumstances we had zero chance and it showed.
Most teams get flogged when a game flows in direction. But some don't. Look at the dragons against the dogs. Great fight from a team against the refs.
This is a milestone year for hopes dashed as an eels fan 40 fucking years...the concern is that this is worse then last year rd 1 and we had a near full strength team..
