Would be the poorest pick for a long term prop option, is on the decline, has very little impact, never stands out anymore when watching the panthers.

No wonder the panthers are keen to let him go, hes one of the most overrated players in the comp.

We should be targeting Frizell.

Anybody else think he's overrated?

  • Depends on the price and attitude

only if he would be a positive inlfluence then would be a good buy If Panthers pay half but not if they pay less than a quarter. May be a good buy if Panthers pay a quarter of whole contract but that is assuming his game gets back to where it was

  • BA’s one strength is getting player buy in so he may get back to where he was pre injury and coaching changes at Penrith

    • Has that been one of his strengths though, are guys really buying in when our forms so bi polar?

Took Evans well over a year to buy in.

I dont think RCG is as average as say our justin poore signing years back but im concerned.

      • Aaron woods maybe snakey

      • To late me thinks lol.

      • Pennies paying over 25% for life of contract. I'll take that.

Then watch him perform when he gives a shit again

    • even 4 years would be too long imo but to get him we'd have to sign him for 4 or 5, as you say, way too long for a player out of form.

Maybe it was the broken jaw thats seen his form drop, if we buy him which ive got a bad feeling we are going to, lets hope it is the jaw and he can find his form again.

    • Doc, to sign any player for 5 years in many respects is crazy, 4 years at the max is common but there needs to be some conditions placed in contracts though. With RCG it would mean a club option for over 4 years and very much performance targetted.

        • We don't have to take him for 5 years. We won't be inheriting his contract. He'd dissolve his current contract via mutual agreement and then he'd sign a contract with us and the Panthers (a payout contract from the Panthers and the new contract with us).

If he's really unhappy at the Panthers then he would take a reduced contract elsewhere, either in length, dollars or both.

He's definitely not showing the kind of form and growth that makes you want to lock him up for 5 years. I'd say 2 years tops otherwise he can go elsewhere.

        • Its four after this year. Who signs a six or seven year contract FFS.
