            • No not his fault MON offered him a ridiculous offer. But we can blame Matto for not living up to what he would've promised dopey he'd do once he signed the deal.,

This is why it's so fucking important to have smart operators managing re-signs and contracts. Matto had sat on his hands for 2 years leading up to that deal and then pulled his finger out when the re-negotiation was due , then went back to doing exactly what he'd shown us he would do previously.  I don't think there was a single soul on this page that didn't see it coming other than Ploppa who'd been writing thread after thread about how Mattos our best player .

              • Ah! I cant resist when i see an idiot talking...if you had a half a brain and a memory to match,  we had virtually  lost Matto, he was already to go to the Dolphins.....BUT we had just at this time lost Mahoney and Pappilli, the politics were there to not lose Matto as well......finally i would have lost Mon two years ago as well but just remember he made no final decisions BA was the autocrat that finalised every players retention.

Your ability to twist the facts to assist your agenda are mind boggling, that's why i go after you, your fundamentally dishonest and yes you are clever and all the sychophants love you but you can never escape your dishonesty.

With regard to Matto's current retention, i said all along that if you want to get rid of him, just 'pay' the difference.....i do not know what personalty issues Ryles has with Matto, i can only assume it is something to do with HIAs ....i have no doubt that a genuine Matto is good enough to be in our 17, but i do agree that history says he doesn't deserve to be!

Finally you made a thinly applied criticism of paying other clubs to get rid of players, Penrith did this regularly and it didn't effect them.

PS i would have thought Perth represents a wonderful opprtunity for Matto.

    • Yes heard this too and I assume Matterson; I cannot see Paulo leaving before his contract has ended; but hey who knows. We need the experience and I have had a dig at Paulo for consistency but to me this year was one of his best years as he led the juniors mostly by himself. We need another exp type backrower for me.

Hope AMS stays as he has time on his side and has height; saw big San wandering around last game and he willl only be better too albeit injury free

  • Dan Keir is the only one im kinda surprised with, is he going anywhere

    • Keir would have only been kept on a train and trial deal to provide leaderships for our rookies in cup. But I rather we get someone else for that who has actually played more NRL games.

      • Yeah Keir's only value now is to be a mentor for Cup players. I think he is fine with doing that but he could have a SL deal for all we know. But to Keir i wish him all the best.

        • cheers

  • Matterson listed as a part of Warrington's departing players. Well F*** me dead. We are stuck with his deal. Doesn't matter if we don't want him or not he has a contract on big money.
