I am starting to think we have the dumbest supporters on here .... watched they way we  manouvre and undermine any failures.

The relentless criticism and then the undermining of the coach, front office etc indicates some people cannot just understand the current problems.

Players were pretty pathetic today and I honestly think with the injuries and dislocation of being maimed that we will be lucky to win another game this season......Can we fix it, I doubt it, it is not an actual lack of effort it is more a lack of ability.

We have two backs with any pace and real class, both obviously carried injuries, you  all being such determined critics out there realising Moses could not run, or place kick. JAC's ribs are so heavily strapped he had problems breathing. Joash Pappilli tried hard, never dropped a high ball but had no support, Penisini has come back early from injury, Kelly is just a pathetic mess from a once competent player, Volkman was honest and the debut winger also honest. Realistically both Volkman and the new kid are not first graders. You can use players like that in one off's but not as regular first graders. It really was a non existent backline and the length of field tries that were put on us reflects that.

Our forwards I cannot defend them, but I do know that you only need one or two key defensive players out and you are buggered. If your backs cannot carry out defence, then the forwards will always be run ragged.....tell me you understand this?

See  I can defend my team, why cannot you at least attempt to understand our situation. Last year Souths had similar problems, their supporters  stuck with them, we don't have the talent that they have, it will be interesting to see if we keep our new St George players after he watches and see's this result but no we will blame MON for losing him and anyone else that wants to come.

NB Anyone that wants to sack the coach is a non thinking moron, he can only work with what he has and I am sure he is trying as hard as he can to come up with a side to play canterbury next week.....good luck with that one Jason. I don't envy your attempting to make something out of a club like Parra, but we stalwarts will support you.

Final point rather than being perenial pessitmists laced with disloyalty, try coming up with some solution's and commitments to support the coaching staff through this period of "seeming disaster"  without coming with your fantasy solutions.

    • Titan's are a lot better than you may think! Just explains you might have the same problem the team has i.e. not respecting your opponents......they would have come to todays game thinking we were better than they thought......we both know now how wrong you can be.

  • Yes, we are hammered by injuries. But... injuries should not mean we lose the ability to:

    * Catch the ball.

    * Tackle.

    * Still have some energy after 10 mins.

    * Defend at marker.

    * Have some line speed.

    * Kick goals.

    * Hold the middle.

    * Rally, huddle, regroup on the field.

    * Chase a kick.

    * Defend in a line when (if) chasing a kick.

    * Not pass forward.

    * Follow the play in support.

    * Stay onside.

    * Pass to your half back and captain when he screams for it.

    * Play like you even vaguely value the jersey you wear.

    There is no excuse for the above and we're not doing most of it. They should have been booed off the ground today and had shit thrown at them! Maybe then they might respond.

    We've become the footy team equivalent of someone suffering battered wife syndrome... we tolerate mediocrity, we make and find excuses, we think change will happen without changes being made.

    Our recruitment is shit and has been for ages, half our roster is crap, we are unfit, we seem to have zero defensive systems, we are generally inept once in the opposition 20, errors, poor reads, slow, lethargic.

    We have no real identity anymore... are we upbeat, entertainers, a high speed team, offloaders, hard nose defenders, mistake free clinical? What?

    I think the team, the club, the culture... the change, repercussions, consequences have all just become utterly 'meh'.

    Maybe it's just sheer frustration talking I don't know. Injuries mean we are up against it yes, of course, but it is not an excuse for not being able to do ANY of the basics... both on the field and in every aspect of running the club other than financial results.

    • Amen!

    • Absolutely nailed it! best comment of the week!

    • Those problems are being experienced  by most sides, just not Parramatta.

  • Arrr yes Poppa the king or queen of the unicorns....how you can defend the indefencible is peerless.....Honestly you continually bang on against fans that are upset and critical and WE are the morons....but you sure know how to defend this shit show for decades DECADES fairplay ..........................lol

    • I am not homophonic PG, but I am not a cross dresser so Queen would be unlikely.....Unicorn yes, King, Your appoinment not mine.

      I continually bang on  about morons on the site.....well if the cap fits you should wear it. The concept of the morons is self identified, i.e. if are not one, then don't worry, remember you are on social media so be called one should not upset you.

      Well I have basically said nothing you didn't know, do you have anything to add to what you don't know LOL

  • Said to the wife before kickoff that they looked terribly lethargic and disinterested during their on field warm up. Then when Moses, the captain, and one of the most experienced players kicks out on the full in first set, it was the Parra of seasons past where you could just tell the game was over already. Titans first try was as soft as it gets. Even the Titans players looked completely surprised. Ryles mentioned in presser a lack of spirit evident, poor decisions and bad body language. The bloke sitting next to him was the worst offender. In most team huddles after conceding points, the team looked as if they attempting to rally. Arms around each other and trying to encourage. Not Moses. Barely involved himself in the huddle, barely said a word. Terrible body language, throwing his hands in the air at players. Terrible lack of leadership from him today.

    • Thanks Old School, I know exactly what you are saying, thought the same......maybe and stress maybe Moses knew he should not have been playing and it was a hopeless cause. His effort on the field was OK but his execution was not good. Its been that way most of the season from my observations.....

      I have suggested something was wrong ever since the Lomax situation arose. He wanted to go before R360 arose and I don't know why? that said our end of season form denied any problems, but then again the unwashed may not have known.

      This whole blog has been about my defense of the indefensible, equally as discernible about sacking the coach.  Most on here do not understand the damage they cause with their outrage, when actually the real damage needs to be dealt with as a subsequence.

  • Pops only created this blog to take the focus off the real issue which is O'neill and Sarantinos. Its a distracting thoughtless blog nothing else

    He saw the blog i created was getting a lot of airplay and because he is buddies with O'neill he created a brainless blog to disrupt the real reason the club is now dead and buried for 26

    So pops, you've won but trust me and those who know what you're up to.

    You may be cunning,  but you aren't going to play the real fans, so f off to bed because its way past your bedtime
