I am starting to think we have the dumbest supporters on here .... watched they way we manouvre and undermine any failures.
The relentless criticism and then the undermining of the coach, front office etc indicates some people cannot just understand the current problems.
Players were pretty pathetic today and I honestly think with the injuries and dislocation of being maimed that we will be lucky to win another game this season......Can we fix it, I doubt it, it is not an actual lack of effort it is more a lack of ability.
We have two backs with any pace and real class, both obviously carried injuries, you all being such determined critics out there realising Moses could not run, or place kick. JAC's ribs are so heavily strapped he had problems breathing. Joash Pappilli tried hard, never dropped a high ball but had no support, Penisini has come back early from injury, Kelly is just a pathetic mess from a once competent player, Volkman was honest and the debut winger also honest. Realistically both Volkman and the new kid are not first graders. You can use players like that in one off's but not as regular first graders. It really was a non existent backline and the length of field tries that were put on us reflects that.
Our forwards I cannot defend them, but I do know that you only need one or two key defensive players out and you are buggered. If your backs cannot carry out defence, then the forwards will always be run ragged.....tell me you understand this?
See I can defend my team, why cannot you at least attempt to understand our situation. Last year Souths had similar problems, their supporters stuck with them, we don't have the talent that they have, it will be interesting to see if we keep our new St George players after he watches and see's this result but no we will blame MON for losing him and anyone else that wants to come.
NB Anyone that wants to sack the coach is a non thinking moron, he can only work with what he has and I am sure he is trying as hard as he can to come up with a side to play canterbury next week.....good luck with that one Jason. I don't envy your attempting to make something out of a club like Parra, but we stalwarts will support you.
Final point rather than being perenial pessitmists laced with disloyalty, try coming up with some solution's and commitments to support the coaching staff through this period of "seeming disaster" without coming with your fantasy solutions.

That's school yard shit LB, this is not kindergarten and you are not the teacher.....you want to call anyone out on what they said on this site 12 months ago, you will spend plenty of time doing so after school.
It’s not school yard, it’s consistency. You called people morons for something you did yourself. Still haven’t said if I’m wrong, is it because i am not? And if i am not does that make you a moron for calling him to be sacked only 6 games in?
There are those so close to the club they can’t see the forest for the trees.
Right now, we’re in a very dark place, and those tasked with delivering a premiership simply don’t know what they’re doing. Instead of moving closer to that goal, we’re drifting further away.
There’s little value in debating injuries, selections, or tactics. Those are symptoms, not causes. The real issue is that our overarching strategy is flawed. We have the wrong people in key roles, underperforming, yet continuing to be rewarded month after month.
If the club announced tomorrow that we’d secured someone like Frank Ponissi as Head of Football, the reaction would be overwhelmingly positive. But this administration doesn’t make bold, strategic decisions. They’re unwilling to hand over the reins to someone capable of rebuilding the roster. Their loyalty to MON remains unwavering.
And when those failing in their roles aren’t held accountable, it ultimately reflects just as poorly on those above them. Right now, that’s the reality we’re facing.
I understand where you are Mutts, but this didn't come to a head today, any side with the injuries and depth structure we have realised if that was to eventuate, we would be in this position.
I have discussed the MON situation adfinitum and the fantasy fixes like Ponissi I would be very happy with, but they are fantasies until they happen.....in the mean time we play with the cards we are dealt.
Regardless of what team takes the field today's performance was disgraceful, weak, effortless and unprofessional. The Knights have both their halves out for the last few games and at least they show some grit and determination and look like they've been coached correctly and are mentally prepared! Today's team looked like a bunch of schoolboys playing in their lunchbreak
Mallee, You are right, do you feel better now......afterall you have done a great job in role of undermining.
Love watching you fight the good fight Pops. A lot of what you say is true BUT in Bob the Builders own words !
Thanks Bluey, I have no illusions being able to fix the problems, as a good friend of mine said, I lead with my chin and roll with the punches.... LOL
Poppa regardless of who ran out today you do not let the Titans put 50 on you. Unacceptable.
Thanks JJeel,
This was my quote on this blog "Players were pretty pathetic today and I honestly think with the injuries and dislocation of being maimed that we will be lucky to win another game this season......Can we fix it, I doubt it, it is not an actual lack of effort it is more a lack of ability.?
I suppose I am supporting what you said as being Unacceptable is right. BUT you have not called out anyone in particular, some could argue and have that Jim Saratinos has to put up his hand? I further propose that we use the words of "one swallow does not a summer make" and if we can come to terms with the poison that comes out in this process, I have succeded in making people think about "that poison" before they do too much damage.
Hopefully by suggesting we may not win another game this year....that it will not happen and we do something about it.....sacking the coach is definately NOT the answer.
