I think Dearden is one of the top 5 halves around and for that reason I doubt Parra is a chance.
Seeing his performances for Qld and his competitive nature for cowboys, I couldn't believe the knights paid for Brown when Deardon has similar skills but a much better attitude and higher ceiling.
This is one of the hardest rumors to believe we've seen in some time. Really doesn't add up at all. But I guess we will see.
I'd be so confident it's meant to be Tom Chester or Jaxon Purdue.
Tom Chester is a very very good player. If we end up with him on a cut price deal to play 6 we should be VERY excited.
I think Purdue is good but I really think Chester is the one between those two.
Come on mate I rather have Dearden than any of those potential like players. You want a comp buy big name players in certain positions, Dearden is a world class player and him with Moses will change the way parramatta will be look at forever.
I would take Dearden in a heartbeat ofcourse! He is one of my favorite players no doubt about it. I just can't see how it's possible they let him go. I'm suggesting that this 'rumor' is a misunderstanding that someone said that half from NQ Tommy is going to Sydney. And this person assumed it's Dearden and not the off contract Tom Chester.
Dearden has multiple years on his contract and isn't he their skipper? They gave him a chance after the Broncos flicked him and they love him up there.

It's very rare that a QLD born and raised player, well established in a QLD NRL team and also in the QLD Origin side, decides they want to move to Sydney.
I doubt he moves to Sydney at all.
He looks like a potential Roosters player.
