I'm a pain for pointing out that Penrith aren't resting players yet BA clearly did? Maybe they are taking the opposition more seriously?
BA even said it himself - if it was an important game they'd all play. Would they have played if we were playing the Roosters, Storm or Panthers? I dare say yes.... The mistake BA made was admitting that he was resting players against an under strength easy opponent (at least that's what he thought) - Dessie ate that shit up and it was another rookie error by BA.
I don't know about Penriths injury list, but given it's round 10 every side has players carrying niggles. I'm certain players will be rested by Cleary at some point but it won't happen until later in the season IMO. Same as the Storm or any other serious contenders.
Now I'm not suggesting our players shouldn't be rested, but I think resting players should only happen when we aren't as affected by injury like we were yesterday, preferably later in the season when our position on the table has been consolidated. Yesterday's selections reeked of complacency and the players played exactly that way - complacent. Like BA said, they could've played but he thought they should be rested - now would he have rested them against the Roosters, Storm, Canberra or Penrith? Don't think so.
If not why not? Doesn't he rate the Sea Eagles highly? These are the types of things that sides use to motivate their teams and BA handed the Sea Eagles with plenty of it yesterday. I know I would've printed BAs comments and pasted them on all walls of the dressing sheds.
Now you don't have to agree with me, that's fine. It's my opinion. For what it's worth I think we will go deep this year regardless of yesterday's loss.
I don't know why you bother Embers, it's like talking to Trump. Frank's living in his own reality and will not be swayed by facts, especially in a public forum.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I'm not here to have slanging matches - did my share of that years ago on here - whether Frank is negative or positive makes no difference to the outcome anyway, I'd rather be positive about how the club is building cos at the end of the day we only observe what happens and we really have no idea what happens inside that team, so I put my trust in BA cos what else can you do, sit around and have the shits and get frustrated everytime the team has a loss.....that's a short cut to the loony bin

What facts are these Richard?
That BA said that both players could’ve played if it was an important game?
Did he mean if we were playing Roosters, Panthers or the Storm - cause I’m pretty certain they play if it was one of those sides.
We took them lightly and showed them no respect = LOSS.
"Geez this page is so negative. How about we just back what ryles and co have done the last months back. The eels are obviously in talks with players, clubs always are. Us fans just don't hear about it a lot. We didn't know about Dylan Walker, Jack…"

I don't think so
No resting of players either by Cleary I notice - not round 18 yet and he wants to lock in top 4 before doing it by the looks. BA take note!!
If pointing out facts is negative then maybe don't start a blog that sets you up for any.

Hahaha. Thought you'd say that.
Shut it down, shut it down now - he's making too much sense.

Why did you delete your posts?
It looks like I was replying to myself.
Thanks Embers.
Talking to yourself makes about as much sense as arguing with some stranger on the internet. Just saying.
