And we are left with BA...............great
Agreed Brissy; Souffs got rid of Maguire and lets be honest the new coach has done well, but also the players did not have an excuse did they? It was up to them to perform.
Why do we have a shit roster? No idea, we can't attract players, players, we came this year, I have no idea why. But BA here, the club seems behind him, they are giving him all he needs, so I guess their nothing left or should I say, no one else to blame. I hope he kills it because I want the team to play well, play finals football, which will attract good players. No use saying he needs to go, because he signed & they are not going to pay out the whole year. If you want him to fail just so you can say I TOLD YOU SO! That's shallow, and why would you want another year in the bottom 8. I think we can turn it around, I think all players need to play smart & commit to the team & with a new stadium anything possible.
The teams that played in the Grandfinal were the Storm & Roosters, the team we always mention when we talk salary cap & TPA. Souths had this coach everybody wants, they didn't win, Cowboys didn't win, Panthers didn't win & neither did the Tigers. So my point is, if & I say if BA had got us to top 8, or say top 4, we wouldn't have beaten the Roosters? No... so I know it's better then coming last, but most here would have have still said, he can't win us a Grandfinal, I know that because it happened last year. Yet you want another coach that also can't win us a Grandfinal while these two teams rule the top 4. The guy will never be accepted!
If you want to win the comp consistently in this competition you need to rort the system. It doesn't have a lot to do with the coach, but that topic is an easier cop-out. If people here put as much energy into getting the NRL administration to sort out the TPA mess they have created, we may see some real action.
This is from the NRL site:
The basic guide is that if a player is receiving money from any person as a way of inducing him to play for the club, then that money will be included in the Salary Cap.
Income that a player earns from parties not related to his club is generally not included in the Salary Cap, however, the details of the agreement must be advised to the club by the player.
So why have we never seen TPAs travel with a player as he moves from club to club? That sounds to me like inducing him to play for that club. If you want something to whinge about, have a whinge about something that will make a real difference.
Has channel 7 ever had breaking news in regards to NRL?
There always be other coaches become available should the club part ways with BA.
Oh, the stadium deal is in place so the sky must be caving in on another issue.
Yeah, but there always is
