Club Statement: Leadership Update
The Parramatta Eels today confirm a change in the club’s football leadership structure, with Mark O’Neill departing his role as Head of Football, effective immediately.
We thank Mark for his service and commitment during his time at the club. His efforts have contributed to important developments both on and off the field, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
The club is pleased to announce the appointment of Shane Richardson as Head of Football. Shane brings a wealth of experience across the NRL landscape, with a proven track record in driving high-performance programs, strong club culture, and sustained success.
This appointment reflects the club’s clear focus on accountability, high standards, and delivering consistent results for our members and fans. Shane will commence in the role immediately and will work closely with players, coaches, and staff to strengthen the football program and position the club for long-term success.
The Parramatta Eels remain committed to building a premiership-winning organisation and delivering performances our supporters can be proud of.

Maybe attitude isn't where it needs to be Coryn for that first contact as you say, but, attitude / effort / energy could also be impacted by whats happening on the field.
Good opportunity this week to see if we can change this, or if its going to take a change in roster.
I don't think its attitude. Jnr paulo isn't even a mid tier prop now and wouldn't be worth 400k on the open market, Williams should be @ lock. We have one decent people but he's inexperienced in big Sam. Want to see more from Moretti and Teancum Brown on the bench
Jnr has had it. Bench lock at best he's finished
