  • When we beat the Dragons, Ryles should get in the Presser and say that one was dedicated to Guthos Mum

  • Okay let's put this in some perspective... how does your mum feel about your ex?

  • Manly dumped her son off in the skip with an acl. We picked him up, dusted him off, nurtured, payed good money and transformed him into a rep player.

Ungratefulness should be a criminal offence.

Where's Ray Price to spear tackle someone that is ungrateful?

    • Come on Hilly, I know you are just playing with the fools on the Hill, but do we have to act like children because a mother made a comment about her sons ex.

WE got a lot from Gutho and vice versa, lets leave it at that. Gutho himself is playing it straight and professionally. He is still good mates with Moses and the like and it seems that the bitterness if he has any is close to his chest.

The messiah and his acolytes have the usual negatives to show that IEE will never achieve a credability status that anyone will take notice of. Just read some of the comments and imagine any thinking person taking IEE seriously as a commentary or representative of a fan base. Children in the playground.

We have a huge positive with the new coach, an emerging NRL leader in Jim Saratinos and a playing roster that can achieve the next step.....BUT no, we have to worry about Gutho's mum!

    • I wouldnt be suprised if Gutho is still being breast fed

agree, our club gave him an opportunity when Manly didnt

set him up financially, professionally etc glad the dope is at the dragons

  • Mum overreacts on behalf of son.

That's all this story is. Gutho has shown zero bitterness towards the Eels. His exit was pretty high profile and yet he's been professional throughout.

There are some players who are passionate about clubs, and there are some players who are just passionate about the sport. Gutho is the latter. He wants to play, he wants to compete. He doesn't really care too much who it's for. Whilst he was here he always gave his all on the field - that's his legacy for us.

This is just clickbait drama trying (and succeeding) to hype up Eels fans. We should be pleased that the Dragons have taken an ageing Gutho off our hands and given him a nice retirement pay packet, and through the whole process Gutho has been a good sport.

    • Ummmm, no Cap, this is Guth telling a story on air of how mum overreacts on behalf of her son.... This IS the bitterness

      It's all him.

      lil bitch

"The league needs to come down heavier for dangerous play. The players will soon learn that it's not worth the risk. Yes we all want to see a good tough game of RL, but not if it impacts players longterm health."
