Turns out the guy we got from the Storm is still around thankfully and the AFL guy is the one who has gone.
The Parramatta Eels Club has made some changes to its Athletic Performance Department.
Parramatta Eels rehabilitation coach Brendan Inkster has been promoted to Head of Athletic Performance, replacing Lachlan Wilmot who recently departed the Club to pursue another career opportunity.
Parramatta Eels Club General Manager, Football, Mark O'Neill said, "Brendan has done a fantastic job since joining us one year ago. The work he and our performance staff did this year to get the best out of our players on a consistent basis is a testament to his ability and level of professionalism."
Trent Elkin will now take on the role of NRL Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Trent has previously worked with the Bulldogs, Eels and Sharks before being banned from NRL in 2013. However the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) cleared Trent of all charges and he is a welcomed addition to the Eels Athletic Performance Department.

Adrian Jimenez has not been mentioned at all in any of this correspondence. Clearly the Eels were fitter and better prepared this last season
Same
Jimenez is now at the dragons, why has the club allowed this to happen?, did they even try to keep him?.
Club penny pinching again maybe?
Who knows with this stuff. It may have had something to do with Elkin returning. Maybe Jimenez was offered a good deal by St George. Brendan Inkster doesn't seem to have been a bad S&C coach given he headed our rehab program this season and we had very few soft tissue injuries.
C'mon Super it's pretty obvious what's happened. We've hired Elkin because we lost Jimenez. You're right the desperate Dragons probably did pay a large sum to poach him from us, but once again this highlights BA's lack of urgency in building an elite team of assitants to help get the most out of his players.
I don't get this, really. Elkin has been in the athletic performance industry since 1998. He's not an idiot. And how do we know how good any of these guys are? Who are we to say that a certain S&C coach is better than another? None of us work with them, none of us train under them. It just seems like we're bashing the club for the sake of bashing the club.
Clubs regularly change back room staff. To say BA isn't building an elite team of assistants is an insult to guys like Elkin and our other coaching staff who were there this season and will be there next season.
Sure they're valid. All of our assistants are competent and knowledgeable. I never said otherwise. But are they the best in the field? I don't think so. And this is where BA has consistently let himself down.
How would you know if they are the best in the field or not? Quite often a lot of that is subjective. It just seems you're looking to criticise BA over something when this wouldn't have been just his decision. Hell, I doubt he really has much of a say on our S&C staff, it seems like something Mark O'Neill would be across. To your mind what makes someone the best in their field?
Super if it were me I'd handpick every assistant from teams that have performed consistently year on year and have been part of premiership winning campaigns. Success breeds success as they say. Naturally Storm and Roosters must have some of the very best assistants as they have the results to prove it. The Sharks under Flanno were brutal and were a consitent finals team. I'd have a look at them as well.
Now have these teams done well just because of their choice of assistants? Most certainly not. A huge number of factors have also played a part. But they've delivered the results to gain these teams success and then done it again the year after. They know how to get their charges up and ready to fight. This is what I regard as what makes them the best.
